On the Road With Kristen Stewart: "I Was Very Intimidated," Says Costar Amy Adams

Amy Adams was very popular recently with the young people in her life.

You see, she recently spent four days in New Orleans shooting On the Road with Twilight star Kristen Stewart…

"I got requests for autographs, and I didn't ask for a single one," Adams told me yesterday at Variety's Power of Women luncheon at the Beverly Hills Hotel, where she was honored for her work with the Bronx-based Ghetto Film School.

Why?

Adams may be a 36-year-old two-time Academy Award nominee and mother of one, but when it comes to teens, she said, "I guess I'm getting to the point in my life where I'm suspicious of teenagers and I'm intimidated a little bit."

Yes, Adams knows Stewart is 20 years old. "She's not a teenager, but she's close enough and I was very intimidated," Adams said.

Adams is a fan of Stephenie Meyer's vampire book series. "I told [Stewart] I read the books and she was like, 'You've read the books?' " Adams recalled. "She couldn't compute it, but you have to imagine I was playing this sort of bedraggled drug addict, so she was like, ‘That doesn't seem like the audience.' But she was incredibly gracious and lovely."

The Variety luncheon was Adams' first red carpet appearance since giving birth to her and fiancé Darren Le Gallo's first child, daughter Aviana, on May 15.

"I don't think she recognized me when I was leaving the house," said the new mommy, who will next be seen opposite Mark Wahlberg in The Fighter, a drama about real-life boxer "Irish" Mickey Ward, out in December. "I'm so done up and she's used to seeing me in sweats."

Trochę jest zaogkrąglony, ale to tylko brzuch. Bywa, że zmienia swoje rozmiary po cięższym posiłku lub w zależności od cyklu miesiączkowego. Możliwe, że Kristen ma taki typ figury, że tłuszczyk odkłada się na brzuchu.

OK... jestem zszokowana podobieństwem.
A może tak naprawdę, to córka Kristen, którą oddała do adopcji, a teraz ma szansę pokazać ją światu i wyznać skrywaną tajemnicę... Nie no, dobra, wiem, to już nawet śmieszne nie jest.
Ale podobieństwo jest uderzające i przyznam, że coraz bardziej nie mogę się doczekać, kiedy je razem zobaczę na planie, a później w filmie. Taaa... to sobie jeszcze trochę poczekam. Trudno, wbiję zęby w ścianę i postaram się nie krzyczeć.

Kristen Stewart & Emma: Julia Roberts pities them!

Eat, Pray, Love actress Julia Roberts has expressed her sympathy to the Kristen Stewarts and Emma Watsons as she highlights at the differential treatment meted out to the yesteryear actresses and the newbies.

She laments the fact that the modern-day girls are under immense scrutiny due to the tabloid’s expansive role and the advent of modern gadgets. "It has to be very confusing and difficult to be a young woman in Hollywood today. The focus is so surgical on these girls – on everything they wear and every little detail on their lives in a way that I think is kind of negative,” she sighs.

She wonders how these young actresses handle the intense pressure. She, herself, debuted 2 decades ago and feels that, at her time, it was much easier and less demanding than the taxing life of the 21st era women.

"I don’t know how they handle it. It has to make you feel insecure and you want to cave in on yourself or you prevail because you have good parents, good values and you protect your inner self. It’s got to be hard. Showbusiness itself has changed and it’s not treated in a treasured, magical way any more,” she signs off.

Only a few days back, Kristen Stewart had cited how she feels raped by paparazzi’s constant intervention……Julia and KStew seem to be in sync with their opinions…
