How far would Kellan Lutz go for the rescue animals he loves? As it turns out, he’d happily get naked for them. “Why not?” he told PEOPLEPets.com Saturday night at PETA’s 30th anniversary gala and Humanitarian Awards in Los Angeles. “We were just talking about that. We have to see if Calvin Klein will let me do it. We could have a collaboration.”

The Twilight hunk — who starred, fully clothed, in a PETA ad earlier this year — won a humanitarian award Saturday for his dedication to animal adoption. And nowhere is his love for rescues more evident than in his devotion to his own dogs, Kevin and Kola.

“They’re amazing,” he said. “I took them to Runyon Canyon [on Friday], which I haven’t done in the longest time. Kevin‘s so small, and he keeps up, but they’re definitely pooped.”

Lutz loves letting his dogs run wild in L.A., where they’re able to take hikes and play outside. “I don’t want them to just sit in my room all day,” he said.

And though the actor savors his time with his dogs, when it comes time to travel, he chooses to leave them at home. “I don’t like flying animals,” he said. “I know they have this new airline, Pet Air, and I’d love to try that out sometime.” Luckily, there seems to be a compromise in the works. “Now that we’re shooting [Breaking Dawn] in Baton Rogue, maybe I’ll have a roommate drive them out,” he said. Perhaps a Twilight cameo is in Kevin‘s or Kola‘s future?

Red Flag Releasing grabs ‘Meskada’ for December release

Red Flag Releasing has acquired U.S. theatrical rights to the crime thriller “Meskada.”
The indie distributor will also release the film day-and-date on demand via cable, satellite providers and digital download channels Dec. 3. The film, which was written and directed by Josh Sternfeld, had its world premiere at the 2010 Tribeca Film Festival.
Nick Stahl, Rachel Nichols, Kellan Lutz, Grace Gummer and Norman Reedus star in the story of a small-town detective trying to solve the burglary-turned-homicide of a three-year-old boy in an affluent suburb of Meskada County. As his investigation progresses, it becomes entangled with the ecomomic and political struggles of nearby Caswell, the detective’s childhood stomping grounds.
“ ‘Meskada’ is a bona fide indie with a compelling story by writer/director Josh Sternfeld, shot solely in New York with great cinematography and an ensemble cast of up and coming stars,” said producer and Red Flag Releasing partner Ron Stein.

Kellan Lutz & Other Stars Oppose McDonald’s Slaughtering Method

Alec Baldwin, Anjelica Huston and Kellan Lutz are among the stars who have signed a petition urging McDonald’s bosses to adopt a less cruel chicken slaughter method.
The trio was among the stars who agreed to be part of the PETA 30th anniversary petition.
The stars want McDonald’s chiefs to heed the advice of the company’s own advisory board and switch to the much less violent chicken slaughter method that McDonald’s already uses in Europe.
According to PETA, McDonald’s suppliers cut chickens’ throats while they are conscious and scald birds to death in defeathering tanks.
The celebrities who signed the petition also include Isabel Lucas, Olivia Munn, Eli Roth, rockers Iggy Pop and Dave Navarro and longtime PETA supporter Pamela Anderson.

The actor Kellan Lutz visited the Sitges Festival to present a DVD edition of The Twilight Saga which goes on sale on December 4. Antena3 was with the actor who plays the vampire Emmett Cullen, who answered all the questions fans of Twilight had sent through our website.
Christian asks: How does it feel to know you are going to shoot the end of the saga?
Kellan Lutz: I have not really thought about this a lot but I’m very glad I did it [the saga], I think what’s really important is the support we get from the fans, because from the books they could have made these films, but they couldn’t have been done if it wasn’t for the support we’ve had and the success we’ve got. Besides, after making a film there are about two years until the whole press issue comes out, there are many things in between. We could say it’s the end of the saga, but not the final chapter.”
Maria asks: How long does it take to put the makeup on you so you can be characterized as vampires?
Kellan Lutz: Now you asked I really don’t know, but for example Nikki Reed‘s skin is much darker, so it takes longer to put the white makeup on her. The worst thing for me is when I have to put the lenses, because they have to call a technician and it takes a lot of time, the truth is it’s quite uncomfortable.
Noelia asks: What do you think about the parody film about Twilight?
Kellan Lutz: To tell you the truth I love them, is a very easy and very smart way to think of the subject of werewolves. My sister is not just what my mother tells her anymore, she’s what she reads and what she does, and what she reads and is very important.”
Noel’s question, Kellan, I think she meant if you’ve seen ‘Vampire Suck’, the film parody of the Twilight saga.
Kellan Lutz: Ah, no, I haven’t seen it.
Nuria asks: What is your best and your worst quality?
Kellan Lutz: Well I can tell you I love life, I live to love, I think that may be the best and the worst is that sometimes I have too much energy.
Ana Pilar asks: How does it feel when you see a lot of people screaming your name?

Kellan Lutz: It’s unbelievable, it’s also something very special, especially to see it, to be with people who appreciate what you do and having fans all around you. I also love to travel, to come here, to go there and see that they are really feeling this. Really, if you think, you are part of the fans and they are also there for you. It’s true that with the first film what I heard was people shouting ‘Emmett, Emmett’, and now I hear ‘Kellan, Kellan.’ It’s great.

Sitges Film Festival: Twilight Event with Kellan Lutz

This is nothing new, just another article from the Sitges Film Festival but since there aren’t many news right now, i thought i would share it.

In the Twilight universe, up until now it seemed like there was only one valid question: Edward’s team or Jacob’s team?

The event that took place yesterday in Sitges made it clear that there’s a third party and he’s very self-confident: Kellan Lutz, the good-looking Emmet Cullen, Edward’s brother and part of the family of vampires with millions of followers around the world. Lutz, actor (he’s appeared in series like C.S.I. or Héroes, where he played the fiancé of the cheerleader Hayden Panettiere) and model (his poses for Calvin Klein are worthy of being framed), visited the Sitges Festival to present the different editions of the DVD of the last installment of the Twilight saga, Eclipse and, at the same time, bathe in the (crazy) crowd.

History repeats itself after Jamie Campbell’s visit last year: fans camping outside the Melià Hotel for two days, thunderously screaming (“KEEEEELLAAAAAAN!”), hysterical crying, signs with declarations of unconditional love, lots of flashes and sightings causing delirium (“I saw the back of his neck!” “I think he got out of that car!”). Lutz abandoned himself to his fans with a perfect smile, sunglasses and a strong security team; he signed autographs, took pictures with everyone and repeatedly said “I love you” in acceptable Spanish. Since yesterday, Sitges fans are, more than ever, on the “Emmet team”.

Kellan Lutz was in the neighborhood before beginning filming on the fourth and last installment of Twilight: Breaking Dawn. He had to run to meetings and didn’t even have a chance to pick up any shoes but just wanted to stop in and say what’s up because he was so into the boots he got last time. Very cool guy.

Dzięki za dodanie zdjęć, bo ja od trzech godzin staram się je załadować i nic.

Zdjęcia wyszły pięknie, ale chyba najbardziej mi się podoba to mi się to czarno-białe, gdzie Kellan siedzi na poręczy. Mam nadzieję, że pojawią się niedługo jakieś lepszej jakości.

Kellan talks Breaking Dawn, Immortals, Charities & More

Elmulticine.com: How would you define your character of Emmett?
Kellan Lutz: The older brother is there to protect your family, and together with his superhuman strength, appreciate what is known invincible and face things with a smile, because when you’re not afraid of anything, you can enjoy it more.

EM: What can you say about your character in these parts of the saga, Breaking Dawn?
KL: Emmett’s character will become more relevant, as it happens in the book, and opened a little door that will allow us to see how Emmett is.

EM: How do you manage as an actor to play the same character with four different directors?
KL: You know, to me that I love. As actors we are expanding these characters we play and it is a continuous creation, so when it comes to a head again, he’ll adding and adding elements, until we know the character perfectly.

EM: And regarding the last director of the saga with which you start rolling, Bill Condon, Do you know anything about him?
KL: I love his work, I’ve seen all his movies and I really look forward to meeting him and the great team working with him, I’m really looking forward to working with him.

EM: You started as a television actor, and then you went to the movies. What are the differences between these two?
KL: Yes, the truth is that the differences are huge, television is much faster, the movies are timeless, a film can take you a year, and sometimes even not be released. I’ve shot films in fact have not even been released yet. Personally, I love the film medium, it gives you the opportunity to try many characters, continually transform, but TV is fun, I love working with HBO, which has broken new ground on TV.

EM: After filming “Breaking Dawn” and end the Twilight Saga, “miss the saga or feel some relief?
KL: Oh, I miss completely, because it was a very influential time in my life has been such a blessing that I think I still take years to realize that I have been part of this. I love it, it has opened so many doors that allow me to continue to choose other great projects …

EM: Let’s change the subject. What can you tell us about your charity project “St Bernard Project”?
KL: Yes, a project that attempts to rebuild homes damaged by Hurricane Katrina in Louisiana, and is an incredible organization we build and improve the lives of that community, and you can work to help the many families there is still need, and help with over a hundred houses to be rebuilt with families who need help and assistance. You can donate your money, your time, make yourself heard, all there is welcome.

EM: Do you think that famous people like you should contribute to these charitable causes?
KL: Well, I encourage every person to do it, that is what humanity does not turn its back on the devastation, actively trying to help, and a great thing to be in the spotlight, to have the good fortune participate in “Twilight”, is to have more influence by your voice heard and to reach more people. For example, via Twitter to educate people and raising awareness of cruelty to animals. I am therefore in a position where people can hear me, and really encourage the actors, and indeed the whole world although it is not, to lend a hand and offering assistance as possible.

EM: What can you tell us about your new film “Inmmortals?
KL: Yes, I am very very proud of this film. It’s been a dream to work with the director, Tarsem. He is a very visual director and visionary, someone who has directed films like “The Cell” or “The Fall.” It’s great to work with Greek mythology, which I love, and to understand to a god that I like, like Poseidon. And with a great cast, Mickey Rourke, Henry Cavill, Luke Evans and Stephen Dorff, John Hurt. It is a truly epic deal, is one of my favorite projects from which I participated, and I’m really looking forward to the premiere.

EM: You said that you love Greek mythology, and since the new release of “Clash of the Titans” it is even more present. Why do you think this trend has emerged in Hollywood?
KL: I think it goes a bit like vampires. See “Twilight” opened the door and now “True Blood” and “The Vampire Diaries” and other great movies and series that follow them. History repeats itself, and now they are epic and mythological stories. Who knows what will come next? Aliens, angels and demons? Everything is a cycle, and it’s really interesting to see how the industry reinvents itself every once in various genres.

EM: And now it seems that you are getting used to playing immortal … Would you live forever if you could?
KL : No, not in real life. I think the pleasure in life is to know that can be terminated at any time, and therefore you should enjoy to go and make things happen, not waiting for them to happen. I’d be a vampire, but not live forever. I would like to see different times and gain more knowledge, but I think the beauty of being human is that there is a final.

Twilight Examiner ~ Kellan Lutz thinks 'Emmett' will be 'more relevant' in 'Breaking Dawn'

"In a new interview (translation available here), Kellan Lutz has talked about what Twilight fans can look forward to from his character in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.
Emmett’s character will become more relevant, as it happens in the book, and opened a little door that will allow us to see how Emmett is.
While "Emmett" had a few vital scenes in Twilight (most particularly, guarding "Edward" and "Bella" on the truck while they fled "James"), his part in The Twilight Saga: New Moon was very small. In Eclipse, though, we got to see a bit more of the character in action (as he has an important showdown with "Paul" at the La Push line - which, thankfully, we got to actually see in the film version of the story). Still, "Emmett," unlike "Rosalie," "Jasper," and "Carlisle," didn't get a full-on backstory in the books (though there was an outtake on Stephenie Meyer's website from Twilight).
So, it should be interesting to see Lutz get some prominent screen-time in Breaking Dawn. There are two scenes which come to mind from Breaking Dawn that'll really make Lutz's portrayal pop - the "arm-wrestling sequence" and all his "Honeymoon talk" with "Edward."
Lutz also talked about his excitement over Bill Condon directing the film.
I love his work, I’ve seen all his movies and I really look forward to meeting him and the great team working with him, I’m really looking forward to working with him.

Kellan Lutz at LAX 28-10-2010

Kellan Lutz smiled for the cameras yesterday when he arrived back at LAX. He’s home again following a stint in Louisiana, where he and his Breaking Dawn cast mates have been hard at work. His costars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson were among those spotted relaxing on set in Baton Rouge, but others from the film, like the werewolves, apparently will be based in Vancouver. The next installment of the Twilight series promises to be the raciest yet, but Kellan finds himself involved in lots of drama in his other new project Meskada. That film, which screened at Tribeca this year, has a just-released trailer out in which Kellan stars as a rural guy caught up in the midst of a murder mystery.

Kellan Lutz Tweets His Heart Out

Kellan Lutz wears his heart on his sleavetwitter. With rumors of trouble in paradise these recent tweets from Mr. Lutz has us wondering if the rumors are true. We hope Kellan isn't nursing a broken heart.

AnnaLynne McCord looks like she may have snagged herself a new man.

The 90210 star was far from shy with model Aaron O’Connell Saturday while hosting a party at Lavo Las Vegas, walking into the club hand in hand and never leaving each other’s sides.

Inside, McCord and O’Connell were seen flirting with each other in their VIP section, taking pictures together on their personal cameras and drinking Veuve Clicquot champagne. Later, she was spotted sitting on his lap.

“They were all over each other,” an observer tells PEOPLE. “There were definitely not trying to hide anything. They were dancing all over each other and didn’t separate.”

Dressed as the White Queen from Alice in Wonderland, McCord could also be seen wearing O’Connell’s hat, an accessory to his pilot costume.

Earlier this month, McCord, who told Ryan Seacrest in September she was”very with” Twilight hunk Kelan Lutz, and O’Connell were at a benefit in Los Angeles for The Homes That Hollywood Built, a benefit for the St. Bernard Project which helps supply housing for those who lost homes in Hurricane Katrina.

Zdjęcie Kellana z małym dzieckiem na rękach jest przecudne. Podoba mi się bardziej niż te wszystkie fotki z premier czy przyjęć.
Szkoda, że nie jest już AnnaLynne bo moim zdaniem pasowali do siebie i fajnie razem wyglądali.

Zdjęcie z bobasem jest epickie, szkoda tylko, że jakośc słaba. Kiedyś Kellan będzie wspaniałym ojcem. Nie będę opisywać tutaj wszystkich moich myśli, bo z pewnością, każdy wtajemniczony wie, jakie obrazki przebiegły przez moją (i chyba nie tylko moją) głowę, gdy zobaczyłam to zdjęcie i przeczytałam podpis.
Co do związku z AnnaLynne... określenie, że jestem "szczęsliwa" byłoby niedopowiedzeniem. Nic na to nie poradzę, że jej nie lubię, a teraz przynajmniej mam ją z głowy, bo muszę się przyznać, że maiłam już przeczucia, że ten związek doprowadzi ich w trochę inne miejsce... (kościół ma na myśli, gdyby ktoś nie wpadł na mój tok rozumowania)
