Instead, a well-placed source confirms The Last Song star and real-life Miley Cyrus boyfriend has been offered a role Lautner was originally supposed to play…
Lautner, 18, was to be paid $7.5 million to costar in David Ellison’s Northern Lights, but he dropped out shortly after snagging the role, according to industry blog Deadline Hollywood.
Fast-forward to today. Hemsworth, 20, is now in the running for the job. (We love us some Liam, but we doubt he’ll be getting as big a paycheck as Lautner.)
“The offer is true, but who knows if he’ll do it,” a source close to Hemsworth tells me. The movie is about four extreme-flying pilots. It was reportedly supposed to start shooting on April 1.
Hemsworth is about to take off for a European tour to promote The Last Song. He’s also signed on to star in 3-D action flick Arabian Nights.

How Rich Really Is Taylor Lautner?
Taylor Lautner had a great 2009. But it’s only the beginning of what looks to be a very lucrative acting career. Even though he hasn’t seen the kind of success that Twilight co-stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have, he’s bringing up the rear very nicely.

Part of the reason is because Taylor’s Jacob Black character is the Anti-Robert Pattinson / Edward Cullen foil that gives Twi-Hards an alternative to pale faced sensitivity. Jacob is an ass-kicking werewolf who’s also battling for Bella Swan’s heart. The love triangle is proving to be irresistible and Taylor’s salary increase reflects that… he made a measly million bucks for his first turn in the series and he’s worked that up to 5 million for the upcoming Twilight: Eclipse. That’s just 2.5 million off the top salaries pulled down by the main stars.

So it looks like Taylor Lautner has a lot to look forward to while movie makers flood his mailbox with new scripts that will help the 18 year old leave this character behind and explore the action movie star that he should become.

On thursday, April 8th, I flew to Paris to meet Taylor Lautner during the signing session at the Orange Store and then at the 'Star
Ambassador' soirée.
During the waiting line, French channels were present to interview fans but they only like hysterical fans
so it wasn't for me ! lol
At 2.40 pm Taylor arrived so the signing session began.. It was fast so I was at the first row
very quickly, then I entered the store and finally saw Taylor
for the first time that day ! :)
There were only few people in front of me and 5 minutes later it was my turn ! ^^ I began to tremble a
little bit.. lol When I arrived in front of him, he welcomed me with a big
smile and a "Hi, how are
you?" and i searched my words to answer him "Fine"
! LOL He signed the poster given by Star Ambassador and then watched
what i was given to him to sign and it was my photo with him taken on November
2009 in Paris when he came to promote New Moon with Kristen, Rob & Chris. I guess he was
suprised and said "Ooooh"..
^^ it wasn't an official picture of him like he used to it.. I managed
to open my mouth (yeeah ! lol) and told him "It was last November" and he responded "Yeah I remember" O_o'
I was shocked ! lol Even if I know that it's not *me* he
remembered but his trip in Paris on November or the moment when we took
the photo because there wasn't many fans and it was calm ! =)[/img]

So he signed my picture and then saw the 'sort of-head' of his bodyguard behind him, laughed and said to me "Look,
it's him" (his bodyguard was just next to him..) and
showed me his bodyguard.. but of course, I already knew he was Taylor's
bodyguard ! lol So this famous bodyguard (I THINK
he called him "Randy" but i'm not really really sure.. anyone know the
name of his bodyguard ? lol) approached us and laughed too when he
saw the picture, then I showed us my other picture from that day
where we can cleary see "Randy" ! lol and they laughed even more ! ^^
The thing is that just two days before, I told my friends that I wanted
an autograph from his bodyguard because he's an entire part of my
photo.. lol So I asked.. and he signed my picture laughing with Taylor,
and with that, TayTay also signed this 2nd photo ! =)

Taylor Lautner And 'Stretch Armstrong' Get 'Monsters Vs. Aliens' Director
The upcoming "Stretch Armstrong" movie has snared a writer and a director.
According to The Hollywood Reporter Rob Letterman has been signed to direct "Stretch Armstrong." Letterman has previously co-directed "Shark Tale" and "Monsters vs. Aliens" for Dreamworks Animation. His first live-action film is “Gulliver’s Travels,” a comedy starring Jack Black that will be released later this year. Additionally, Nick Stoller — the director of "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" — has also been signed to rewrite Steve Oedekerk's original screenplay.
The "Stretch Armstrong" film picked up momentum earlier this year when "Twilight" star Taylor Lautner was cast in the title role. Lautner also left an adaptation of Mattel's "Max Steel" to focus on "Stretch Armstrong."
The movie adaptation reportedly features Stretch Armstrong as "an uptight spy" who is accidentally exposed to chemicals that change his body and allow him to stretch to previously unimaginable lengths; effectively giving him a new weapon to fight evil while also causing havoc in his everyday life outside of espionage.
Back in 1978, "Stretch Armstrong" made his debut as an action figure which became notable for having arms and legs that could stretch outwards without breaking. The figure's success led to similar characters from the same line, including Stretch Monster and Stretch's "evil brother," appropriately named Evil X-ray Wretch Armstrong. When the Stretch Armstrong figure was reissued in the '90s, his dog, Fetch Armstrong was also introduced to the line.
The "Stretch Armstrong" film is currently expected to be released in 2012.

Eclipse cast mates Robert Pattinson (aka Edward Cullen) and Taylor Lautner (aka Jacob Black) arrived at LAX airport this afternoon (May 1) after finishing up re-shoots for Eclipse. There other co-star, Kristen Stewart (aka Bella Swan), was also in Vancouver re-shooting scenes from Eclipse as well.

Taylor to naprawdę chłopak z klasą. Zawsze prezentujący się stosownie do okazji i chociaż przeważnie w cieniu Roberta i Kristen, to właśnie świadczy o nim najlepiej, że nigdy nie daje tego po sobie poznać, wręcz przeciwnie, jest lojalny, dyskretny i koleżeński. Ma w sobie ciepło prawdziwego przyjaciela.

Nareszcie jakiś still z Jacobem, świetny zresztą.

Zgodnie z Social Security Online w USA najczęściej nadawane imiona dla dzieci w 2009 roku to Jacob i Isabella. Na liście również znajduje się imię Edward, które też jest często używane. Zanotowano również wiele dziewczynek z imieniem Renesmee. Saga zmierzch wypromowała nową modę na imiona. Teraz wszyscy nazywają swoje dzieci jak postacie cudownych książek.

Co do powyższego posta - po prostu wiedziałam, że tak się stanie, to było do przewidzenia. Jedyne co mnie dziwi, to że imię Jacob jest popularniejsze od imienia Edward, bo stawiałam raczej, że będzie na odwrót.

Co do stilla - muszę przyznać, że w "New Moon" wolałam Jacoba z długimi włosami (w prównaniu do długich włosów z "Twilight" i krótkiej fryzury), ale teraz chyba powoli się przekonuję do jego krótkiej czuprynki. Still sam w sobie bardzo ładny, Jacob i motor ładnie się komponują, tylko Bella torchę do siebie niepodobna tu jest Rolling Eyes

Dokładnie, też jej tu - można powiedzieć - trochę nie poznałam.

Co do imion. W sumie, ja swoje dziecko chciałabym jakoś może wyróżnić ładnym imieniem (oczywiście imię nie jest aż tak ważne ;P), a nie żeby było 10 Jacobów na osiedlu. Laughing

Choć może nawet zdaje mi się popularne dość imię John będzie wyróżniać się spośród tłumu Jackobów, Edwardów itp. :)
Jest jednak tyle imion, że nie sądzę, żeby taka sytuacja miała miejsce. ;P
