According to KissFm the trailer of New Moon will be showed for the first time at the beginning of Band Slam (with Alyson Michalka & Vanessa Hudgens). The release of BandSlam is on August 14th.

It looks like the word of scenes being shot in Bella’s bedroom today was no lie–check out this picture from today on the set for Bella’s house, with a huge chunk taken out of the side of the house and a camera setup lodged in the gaping hole.

Details on New Moon Scenes Filmed Today in Vancouver

Shooting Bella bedroom scenes. He goes through her photos and she cries and mopes some more when there are no photos. Also something about her opening her eyes and there he is beside her waiting for her to wake up. Pattinson is concurrently continuing green screen work with the other vampires. Winding down his stay in Vancouver.

Production Vans Move Possible Props in Montepulciano

Here are the pictures, directly from Montepulciano, taken this morning.

The pictures portray a production van while unloading pews looking old and some gothic statues made of paper pulp, bringing them in the inside of the town hall.

It looks like some red flags have been moved from a near building too.”

Rob’s Italian Double Chosen
May 15

Twilight Italia has discovered that Rob’s body double for the Italian shoot has now been chosen. Alan Cappelli (an actor currently appearing on regular Italian TV commercials) has been chosen for the job.

There is also quite a bit of other news coming from the set in Montepulciano. It’s now thought that the number of walk on-actors to appear in the square scene has been increased from 500 to 1500 and Twilight Italia has informed us that one of their staff has actually been chosen as a walk-on actor for the film!

Location Found for Volturi Tourist Feeding Scene in Montepulciano?

We’ve heard from a couple of different people that the location in the pictures, an underground location in the city of Montepulciano, will be used in New Moon for the scene in which tourists are led to a trap where they are fed upon by the Volturi. What do you think–is this what you imagined from the book?

Video of Fountain Construction in Montepulciano Italy

Here’s a vid that summarizes what’s been going on in Montepulciano, Italy with the construction of a new fountain to be used in New Moon.

Shire from TwilightItalia says–

Essentially, in this article we say that yesterday, the Mayor of Montepulciano was in the town square (where the fountain is being built) in person and it seems like they were working on security.

The most interesting (and strange) fact is that our friend found a lot of road signs around town saying that some streets will be closed on friday, May 22nd, from 6:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M.

Does this mean filming will start a bit early, before the supposed May 25th date?

Montepulciano Transforms for New Moon with Red Flags

The red flags are because of the old district that is going to be used in the Piazza Grande shot. The production chose some of the districts in Montepulciano with red colors, the ones mainly used during the celebration.
In particular they chose the Voltaia district, asking them to participate as extras to the movie, in the mob, to show the feeling of an organized carnival, with flags and costumes really existing.

Alice Cullen’s Yellow Porsche for New Moon Discovered!

The yellow Porsche that Alice will drive in New Moon has been discovered in Montepulciano, Italy! Ale at TwilightersItalia sends in this report–

The big man you can see in some pictures is one of the stuntmen. He had an Alice wig, a bandana, a couple of elbow high red gloves, and seemingly from far he actually looked like our loved little vampire/pixie.

Mauro secretly told us that there are two yellow porsche in Montepulciano, placed in different places of the town. As they were not exactly identical, one had yellow brake pad cover and another had them red, Production was willing to spend to the incredible amount of €5800 PER PIECE to have them all red!!!

Luckily they found out a way to paint them, but this episode says a lot on how high is this movie’s budget!!!

The helicopter we told you about ealier, has kept low-flying whole day long filming aerial of the main square.. The fountain is not finished yet, so probably this was a rehearsal or shooting for the DVD’s extra-contents.

Twilighters Italia have shared some new pics from Montepulciano! There are pics of the clock tower, a statue that could be a statue of a saint (Marcus?) , a newly installed gutter (which is probably what leads underground to the Volturi), and a throne-like seat which seats three (aka Aro, Caius and Marcus) !
You’ll find our latest pictures from Montepulciano.

There is the clock tower at midday, a newly installed gutter, and a
pictures of a statue taken today in the city hall.
It seems that it could be of a saint or something of that kind.

After our user, Alice, took the picture they made her exit the city hall
saying that it wasn’t allowed to take pictures.
